Persuasive Writing

What outcomes can you expect?

Using PowerPoint to map concept structures, this course offers participants a clear, proven process—The Five Steps to Writing Audience-Centered Deliverables—for presenting well-reasoned and supported recommendations. This program helps learners

  • create logical structures to present their solutions succinctly and persuasively
  • leverage analytical skills for greater credibility when presenting their advice in any format, including live meetings
  • advance their trusted advisor status
  • communicate more strategically
  • use writing as a way to differentiate their brand
  • employ a common voice to the customer, external or internal.

The focus: crafting winning solutions based on sound logic

Learners write or rewrite a complex document from their to-do list or use a case study to apply our easy and repeatable process. Comprehensive audience analysis helps writers design the most effective structure for their arguments. The group sessions of the workshop conclude with participants sharing their storyboards for their report or proposal to the client. The workshop is designed for small groups and incorporates many team activities.
